Multimedia Arts is composed of diverse forms of arts, from Graphic Design, Film Production, Web Design, Animation, and Photography. In this modern world, we embrace the sophistication of technology hence, the art goes through this adaptation and takes its form as the Modern Art. Upon undergoing research, there are various Softwares and Hardwares that are discovered that are commonly used in various forms under Multimedia Arts.

What are the compositions of SOFTWARE:

Software gives command to the computer on the things it will do. With varying uses, the software comprises the procedure, programs, and regimes that are associated with the operation of the Computer System. According to www.britanica.com there are two types of Softwares: System Software is mainly focused on controlling a computer’s internal functioning. And also takes part in functioning peripherals such as Printers, Monitors, and Storage Devices connected to the computer. On the other hand, Application Software are sets of commands within the computer, this includes internal applications like word processors, spreadsheets, database management, inventory and payroll programs, and many other “applications.”

Software is most of the time stored on an external long-term memory device, such as a hard drive or magnetic diskette. When the program is in use, the computer reads it from the storage device and temporarily places the instructions in random access memory (RAM).

What are the compositions of HARDWARE:

Unlike Software, the Hardware are tangible objects that perform various tasks with specific functions. This could vary from Printers, Scanners, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, etc. These objects have their own ways to function on commands incorporated as buttons or work hand in hand with internal softwares that could give controls in order for the equipment to function.

GRAPHIC DESIGN SOFTWARE:

Adobe Photoshop	The software has a set of designing tools, with ranges of adjustable brushes and effects that can produce a more controlled digital art.  Photoshop also offers several targeted workspace layouts, including Graphic and Web, Motion, 3D, Painting, and Photography. Designers can customize the layout of panels and windows.
Adobe Indesign	With available layouts and formats for magazines, brochures, pamphlets, Infographic, and many more. Accompanied by control over text and graphics. Unlike Photoshop, Indesign has availability of indexes, keywords, anchor text frames, footnotes, table of contents, and captions with hyperlinks.
Adobe Illustrator	Adobe Illustrator offers more than just a graphic design tool, there are outputs that can be created and are perfect for illustrative artwork, page layouts, corporate logos, website mockups, and almost anything else as per the requirement. Moreover, it’s an industry benchmark in vector creation tools.
Gravit designer	Gravit Designer has its maximum performance on delivering high quality vector graphics. It can be used for Graphic design, Web Design, and Photo Editing.
Krita	Krita is a free downloadable software that has a common function as Adobe Photoshop. With various tools and effects that can be manipulated to color adjustment and selection for transparency and formatting.
Procreate	On Graphic Tablets, Procreate is an accessible application or built in system that allows an experience similar to traditional art.  With a stabilizer, the lines and strokes are kept clean and neatly applied.

GRAPHIC DESIGN HARDWARE:

Laptop & Detachable Touch-Screen	A portable device that can be used with a keyboard or as a touch-screen, it can be applicable for designing and there are not many limitations to action as compared to a desktop computer. Although, with regards the disadvantage, a common problem with laptops is the internal storage being limited and there can be tendencies where the device needs to be in constant charge as the battery can easily drain.
Graphic Tablet	With the screen being the canvas, Graphic Tablet gives that feeling as if the artist is doing traditional art with actual materials and tools. The screen can vary in size and the canvas settings can offer different sizes and with the ability to zoom in and out, it helps the artist focus on smaller details. With layers within, it can be adjusted either on effects or color filters. Undo and Redo helps the process be more organized and in control. The Graphic Tablet can be pricey as there is a built in screen
Graphic Pad	Similar to the Graphic Tablet, the Graphic Pad is connected to the screen on either a laptop or Computer using USB cord. With the Stylus pen as a navigation tool. The process feels close to the actual experience of doing art, although the focus is divided on the screen and the pad. Although with the pointer appearing on the screen, the usage can be mastered and feel very much at ease. The Graphic Pad can cost less than the Graphic Tablet.
Desktop Computer	A Desktop Computer at its basic setup is composed of a Monitor, CPU, Keyboard, and Mouse. With the parts having their own focus on their specific tasks in running the computer, the process goes smoothly. The monitor is the display which shows the functions of the Keyboard and Mouse. The Keyboard is essentially used for word commands typed and displayed as words or codes. The Mouse allows the user to navigate the space on the screen, with narrowed commands such as Right Click, Left Click, and Scroll. The whole setup device can be used for Graphic Designing and  Text based contents.

WIX Web Developer	An online and installable software that offers access to templates that are available for a great start. With easy control over the website contents, the developer helps guide the user on control panels and suggestions for the layout. When used via mobile it is accessible and similar to its version on desktop.
SquareSpace Web Design	SquareSpace is an online Web Developer that enables users to select available layouts and work their way up in building a Website appropriate for the topic or its purpose. With text styles and a wide range of themes, SquareSpace is proficient in its use.
Web.com Website Developer	Web.com is an open source online Web Developer that focuses on business and promotion, with a setup that is easy to manipulate and use. Making sure that the information produced is secured and kept private.

A transparency tool and other locked elements can be unlocked by availing a subscription to the usage of the application.
Adobe Lightroom	A convenient and easy way to achieve brush up tones for images is a feature that Photographers could use in this application.This cloud-based photo editing software enables the user to view and edit their images everywhere on practically any smartphone devices, not only for Windows and Macs but also for Android and iOS users.
